By creating an account or using Muqabia in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. These terms apply to the Muqabia website, mobile app and all features provided by NuhaTech.
To use Muqabia, you must meet all of the following requirements:
You are responsible for the security of your login credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
Muqabia is an Islamic matrimonial platform that uses AI as an intermediary between users. The service includes the following features:
Echo system — express your interest in a profile. When both users echo each other (mutual echo), a conversation is opened.
AI chat — each user has a personal AI that represents them. You can ask questions to another user's AI, which responds based on their profile information. These conversations are private.
Direct messages — send messages directly to an echoed user. Messages are rewritten by AI in a formal tone and filtered to maintain respect and Islamic values.
Chaperoned video calls — once both users are ready, schedule a video call supervised by the Muqabia team for physical discovery.
Journal — access articles on marriage, couple life and Islamic values written by our editorial team.
Muqabia is founded on the Islamic values of respect, honesty and dignity. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:
Providing false or misleading information in your profile, question responses or messages.
Harassing, threatening, insulting or disrespecting other users in any way.
Sharing inappropriate, sexual or un-Islamic content through any platform channel.
Using the platform for commercial, advertising or solicitation purposes of any kind.
Impersonating another person or creating fake profiles.
Attempting to circumvent AI filtering, message moderation or any platform security feature.
Muqabia offers free and paid subscription plans (Basic and Premium). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe (on the website) or via the App Store / Google Play (in the mobile app). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. No refunds are given for partial billing periods. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Chaperoned video calls may incur additional charges depending on your plan.
Muqabia uses AI to power the intermediary chat, rewrite direct messages and filter content. AI-generated responses are based on information provided by users and may not always be perfectly accurate. AI is a tool to facilitate communication — it does not replace human judgement. Muqabia is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content. You should always verify important information directly with the other person during video calls or direct messages.
All content, design, code, branding and features of Muqabia are the intellectual property of NuhaTech. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the service. Content you create (profile information, question responses, messages) belongs to you, but you grant NuhaTech a limited licence to use it within the platform to provide the service (e.g. powering your AI intermediary, displaying your profile to other users).
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon deletion, your profile and associated data are permanently removed via cascade deletion in our database. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in prohibited behaviour or use the platform in bad faith — without notice. If your account is terminated for violation, you may not create a new account.
Muqabia is a platform that facilitates introductions — we are not a matchmaker, marriage counsellor or guarantor of any outcome. We do not perform background checks beyond profile verification. NuhaTech is not responsible for damages, losses or disputes arising from user interactions, decisions made based on AI-generated content, or the outcome of any relationship initiated through the platform. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
We may update these terms from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
